Take part in a online discussion to help research
How might the time of day affect asthma diagnosis? Researchers want to improve the way that asthma is diagnosed to make sure that patients receive the right treatment. You can help by taking part in an online discussion at 7pm on Wednesday 7th October.
-
Asthma is the most common chronic respiratory disease, affecting 1 in 11 people in the UK.
-
A third of patients get an incorrect diagnosis. Some are undiagnosed and not treated with asthma medication.
-
Improving asthma diagnosis will improve patient care and target treatment to those who need it.
Share your experiences in an online discussion
If you have asthma you can share your views to help make research better.
What’s involved?
We are looking for people who have asthma to take part in an online discussion about research. We’d like to hear your views about our research project and your experiences of taking asthma tests and medication.
You don’t need to have any experience of research, just be happy to share your views in a group discussion. By taking part you’ll be helping to improve the way that research is planned and conducted by the Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. You will not be taking part in a research study.
