Talking about psoriasis

Short podcasts about people's experiences of psoriasis

Contribute to cutting-edge dermatology research in Manchester.

We’re looking for people with experience of any of the following to join the Network:

  • Psoriasis
  • Alopecia (hair loss)
  • Photodermatoses (light sensitive skin conditions)
  • Chronic, difficult to heal wounds
  • Concerns about the quality of your skin as you become older

You can be involved by taking part in online discussions or by providing feedback on research proposals or information by email.

In the online discussion, the researcher would talk about their research and ask you to share your views and opinions as part of the conversation.

If you’re taking part by email, we’d email you with information to read along with some questions about what you think of it and then you’d send your responses to us..

Please note that our activities are currently taking place as a mixture of in person and online.

We’re committed to making our opportunities as inclusive and accessible as possible. If you have any specific requirements to enable you to take part, please let us know.

Dermatological conditions affect in people in different ways and we’re committed to make sure that the network includes people from a range of social and ethnic backgrounds. We specifically encourage people who are from Black and other minoritised ethnic communities to join the Network.

If you’re interested in finding out more, get in touch using the ‘Contact us’ button below. We’ll get back to you from the 10th January and answer any questions you may have. There is no obligation to take part if you decide this is not for you.
