Have your say in a new creative project about MSK conditions
There is a wide range of MSK conditions, people are affected differently and also manage their conditions in different ways. Researchers and Vocal are working together with patients to develop a new project that will increase wider public awareness and understanding about living with MSK conditions.
-
An estimated 3 million children and young people worldwide have one form of arthritis or another MSK condition.
-
Only 34% of people in England with arthritis or ongoing problems with back or joints said they had a conversation with a healthcare professional from their GP practice to discuss what is important to them when managing their condition.
-
Join our online discussion to share your experience and shape a new project. The discussion will last an hour and a half and people who take part will receive a payment of £30.
Have your say in research
Take part in an online discussion to help develop a new project on people’s experiences of MSK conditions.
What’s involved?
Join an informal online group discussion, where people will be invited to share their experiences of having an MSK condition. Topics will include your opinions about movement and self-management of your MSK condition.
You don’t need to have any previous experience of research to take part, just be happy to share your views in a group discussion.
The aim of the discussion is to help shape a new project and to ensure that it is reflects the experiences of young people with MSK conditions.
Who we are looking for?
We would like to speak to people who have an MSK condition such as juvenile arthritis, lupus, scleroderma and others.
We are looking for people from a range of social and cultural backgrounds. We want to make sure that the project reflects a diversity of experiences.
