Help to shape new research
Researchers want to better understand how night shift working affects people with respiratory conditions and if so, identify measures or advice that could support night shift workers with asthma.
-
Around 1 in 8 people now work nights. Night shift working can have an impact on people’s mental and physical health.
-
Working night shifts affects our internal body clock. Our body clock regulates many functions of our body in alignment with the light-dark cycle of day and night.
-
We are running an online discussion to help develop a new research proposal. The discussion will last for an hour and people who take part will receive a payment of £20.
Night shift working & respiratory conditions
Take part in an online discussion to help develop new research
What’s involved?
The discussion will be informal, people will be invited to share their experiences of working night shifts and the impact on their health, if any, as well as their views on information and research about this topic.
You don’t need to have any previous experience of research to take part, just be happy to share your views in a group discussion.
The aim of the discussion is to help researchers make sure that the research proposals they are developing will be relevant for night shift workers. This discussion is not a research study.
