Help develop new research
Researchers would like to hear people's views about a research proposal to develop a new smartphone app which could help people to manage their own body clocks and health conditions better.
-
Our internal body clock regulates many functions of our body in alignment with the light-dark cycle of day and night. When our body clock is out of step it can affect our physical and mental health.
-
The time of day that we sleep, eat and do exercise all have an impact on our internal body clock. The amount of daylight we’re exposed to is also an important factor.
-
Join our online discussion to find out more about the research and share your views. The discussion will last an hour and people who take part will receive a payment of £20.
Could we improve our health and wellbeing by managing our body clock?
Take part in an online discussion to help research
Share your views
Join an informal online discussion about a new research proposal. You don’t need to have any previous experience of research to take part, just be happy to share your views in a group discussion.
You’ll find out more about the proposal and have the chance to ask questions.
By having a say in research you can help researchers improve their ideas and make sure that research is relevant to people and patients. You won’t be taking part in the research project just giving your opinions about it as part of a a group.
We are looking for people who:
have diabetes or a respiratory condition (such as asthma)
and are smartphone users (you won’t need to use your phone as part of the discussion).
In the group we want to include people with different experiences and from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

To take part you need to:
be happy to participate using Zoom on a computer (we’ll send you the link)

We are committed to making our opportunities as accessible as possible. We want to support you to be involved so if there is anything we can do to enable you to take part please let us know.
